Cedar Gables Campsite are excited to announce discounted rates for Duke of Edinburgh award participants.

We are a perfectly situated family run campsite on the Kent and East Sussex boarder. We are very close to Bewl Water Reservoir, Bedgebury Forest and Scotney Castle, and have several footpaths near the site. Adjoining the site is footpath WC61, leading to Bewl Water, and footpath WC57 is opposite, which leads to the Swattenden Centre at Cranbrook. We have been welcoming Duke of Edinburgh entrants for the last 30 years, and are eager to assist new schools and centres in future years.

We are used by Kent County Council Education and Young People’s services, and have public liability insurance. Rates are £6 per head, per night

Participants will have access to toilet and wash room facilities (no showers), and fresh water supplies.

We do expect an adult presence to be onsite with the participants.

Please note, as we are a small site, we are not equipped to receive parents dropping children off. Please either walk or bus your participants in.
